The admonition to question all authority that academics so blithely espoused to young minds a generation ago has returned to bite them on the butt. It is the intelligent that are questioning the not so intelligent refusal of the intelligencia to give some credence to intelligent design; not doing so is just dumb.

While presidential candidates manage to downplay race issues, explain away elaborate lies in campaign speeches and still get laughs and accolades on late night TV shows, the preachers and theologians are left to deal with the last but not least, our souls. How are they doing?

Given to this world and set apart for a higher purpose, Dottie Rambo has faithfully exuded the tangible force of God's anointing. Today, we mourn the loss of her earthly body, but knowing that she has passed through this portal of life and fully into the sheltering arms of God, we can only give praise to the Lord for the time he has given her to us... She will be remembered always.

Bitterness, like a root, begins unseen, and continues to seethe beneath the surface. But bitterness cannot stay hidden for long – it erupts like a volcano spewing boiling lava of resentment. Bitterness creates trouble for the one who harbors it.
